i like to think about the intersection of art and science from my own perspective, and the world seen at the micro-scale. i research and imagine bacteria, viruses, bugs, and the insides of humans and animals to create vibrant, mixed-media realms and fantasies with moving parts. i also feel inclined to create politically and ethically motivated art that reflects our times.
