i’ve been freelancing the last 2 years, primarily working with the North Village Art Walk, then label design for Oso Cremoso, and now for a local remodeling business, Beam and Brick.
North Village Art Walk
The North Village Art Walk is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit focused on beautifying the Arts District in downtown Columbia, MO. The Art Walk showcases over 24 sculptures and murals in a 12-block radius! This organization gave me my official start as a freelance designer, and I am forever thankful for their belief in my abilities. I’ve been with them for the past 2 years, and I’m currently searching for an intern to take over the design responsibilities. From website design to printed promotional media, brochures, fliers, plaques, coloring books, and more, to my own mural projects and associated printed promotional media. This partnership has given me exemplary industry experience!
Oso Cremoso
Working with the founder, Leigh Lockhart, the original owner of the infamous Main Squeeze, I helped her vision for her next venture come to life. Oso Cremoso has been a vegan ice cream, made locally in Columbia, MO. I originally helped Leigh with a re-design of a Fiverr-commissioned logo, and 5 flavor labels to start. I then helped with a facelift for the logo (more bear-like this time) and designed 15 flavor labels. This delicious, locally made ice cream has been available at both Clovers Health Market locations on Broadway and Forum in 8 flavors in Columbia. Leigh recently passed away. She was a wonderful human. I feel very lucky to have worked on this project with her.
Beam and Brick
In the Fall of 2025, my partner, Will, my sibling, Jack, and I decided to combine all of our respective skills and create a remodeling business. It’s the second life of Beam and Brick, originally run by my partner in STL. I’ve been tasked with the graphic design and related technical services; mockups, dimensional drawings, murals, and more! Our logo’s goal is to appear professional and playful, highlighting the Columbia skyline, and our secondary logo highlights the 3 owners, the W/S/J. WSJ Beam and Brick is locally owned and operated by Mizzou Engineers and Columbia Natives. We are your one-stop shop contractors. I’m currently working on promotional stickers, very exciting!

Bloom Network Internship
During my internship, I created a Quick Style Guide, a branding guideline to effectively and cohesively market Bloom Network’s intentions.
